Thank you to everyone who came to the first annual WIS Fall Festival. It was a beautiful day and there were many people out and about.
We have a very busy week this week with Parent/Teacher conferences, fall parties and lots of other things going on in the district. So....I am very glad we are starting our unit on figurative language and poetry. It is a fun unit and the kids will love it. It allows them to be very creative while learning. Here are this week's assignments: Monday: plot structure- “The Breakaway” Tuesday: figurative language video and notes; figurative language matching game Wednesday: figurative language example chart Thursday: figurative language- google classroom Friday: poetry notes-Haiku Reminder: NO SCHOOL next Mon-Tues., November 3-4. Book Talks DUE DATE: November 18, 2014.
