The book talks were great! I really enjoyed them and the students really stepped up with the props and their professional dress, as well as their attitude. You could really tell that their confidence had really increased since the last presentation. We will be starting our 3rd and final individual book talk on January 30th. Book Talk choices are due that day.
Here are this week's assignments: Monday: Finish Scholastic News (due Wednesday); Begin writing Legend about animal Tuesday: Good beginnings; Good endings for Animal Legend Wednesday: Rough draft of Animal Legend Thursday: Finish Rough Draft of Animal Legend Friday: Book Talk Choice #3 due; Unit 2 Post-Formative Reminder: Parents have an email that has a timeline to help keep on track for the book talk. This an excellent resource to make sure it is completed on time.
