Greetings! I hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather was windy, but I saw many signs of spring. It looks like we're in for another round of winter weather, but maybe it will be mild and turn warm quickly. We are so close to Spring Break! I can hardly believe it. Lots of things happening.
Students were given their "Heritage Packet" on Monday and we took the class time to go over it. Please ask the students to share this information with parents. If there are any questions, please ask. The students seem very excited about the assignment. Here are this week's assignments: Monday: Heritage assignment notes (get with friend for additional notes); reference material notes Tuesday: Online docs- Evaluating Info Through Pictures Wednesday: Heritage project presentation choice due; reference material game and quiz Thursday: Compare/contrast two types of media (online) Friday: Post formative assessment/ computer lab-work on heritage project Clubs this week: Tuesday: Last Hot Cocoa, Xtreme Readers Wednesday: Running club, movie club, Shooting Stars Thursday: Minecraft Club Friday is PJ day for $!.00 Looking ahead: Spring Break March 10-14.
